Antibes has long attracted artists—most notably Picasso, who lived for a time at the Château Grimaldi (now the Picasso Museum). I have been active in the area since 1979, buying, selling, and appraising antiques, paintings, and objets d’art.
I purchase and appraise antique and 20th-century furniture; paintings (Old Master, modern, and contemporary) by French and international artists; and a wide range of decorative and collectible items, including silverware, European and Chinese porcelain, ceramics, Asian art, chandeliers and lighting fixtures, mirrors, antique clocks and timepieces, sculptures, rugs, and tapestries, as well as African and Oceanic art predating 1950.
Based in Nice, I am happy to travel to Antibes and the surrounding area to meet with clients—whether for estate settlements or the sale of a single high-quality object or painting.
Travel and appraisals are prompt and always free of charge
Estimates and purchases are made by appointment at your home or in my shop from Monday through Saturday, 8.30 AM – 7.30 PM.
